Oregon Hereford Association- Annual Spring Heifer
Sale
Saturday, April 1, 2000
- Oregon State Fairgrounds
5 Top Heifers, Foundation Seedstock
for Your Future.
Lot# 5 - QMF 36G
JEWEL 31J is my top weaning heifer in my winter calving
contemporary group (ratio 112). Her sire is an Optimum
bloodline bull that sold well at Klamath Falls last year. Her dam
is a very attractive dark cow that was over at Sunrise Ranches last
year with 31J bred to our Hercules bull. All who saw this pair on
the breeding pasture liked them very much. She is an excellent show
prospect as well as a top foundation heifer for your program. I
think you will like her too.
Sale Results:
Quick Mill Farms wishes to congratulate and thank Jennifer Sullivan
of Chehalis, Washington for the purchase of this really nice heifer.

QMF 4411 JOSIE 23J is a beautiful horned heifer from
a donor cow I purchased in the Oregon Hereford Ranch dispersal sale.
Her sire is their famous 4411 bull and they had a full brother the
year before that was one of their top bulls, selling for $10,000.00.
Her mother is currently in my donor program. I am offering 23J as
an example of the best of my horned genetics, attractive breeding
for the show ring and foundation material for your program.
Sale Results:
Quick Mill Farms wishes to congratulate and thank Pied Piper Farms
of Hamlin, Texas for the purchase of this great heifer. She should
do well in production or as a future donor.

QMF 9630 JULIANNA 21J is a beautiful dark Picasso
daughter that has show prospect written all over her. Her sire,
WNH QMF Picasso 9630
was Reserve Grand Champion at Puyallup, Intermediate Division Champion
at the American Royal Genetic focus show and 3rd in a large class
at Denver before he was sold to a ranch in Argentina. Her mother
is an Optimum bloodline
perfectly uddered first calf heifer. A Picasso son (22J) of similar
breeding is on display and another Picasso son (17H) recently was
the Champion Polled Hereford and high selling polled Hereford bull
at the Klamath Falls Bull Sale. Showing ring success combined with
outstanding performance leads to the kind of foundation seedstock
we all can use.
Withdrawn from sale.

QMF Z03 JENNA LISA 19J is by MSU
Optimum Z03 and out of a very productive good uddered, good
milking TK Grand Vision daughter. 19J is a deep-bodied heifer with
lots of volume and capacity - just like here parents. She combines

take your breeding program to the next step.

Lot# 1-
QMF 11F JILL 06J is a heifer that combines my Optimum
breeding with my Prospector bloodlines. This sweet tempered gentle
heifer has a little more white than I like but is otherwise one
of my favorites. She is very correct in her stance and walk and
her mother has a super udder. Both her sire and dam have the carcass
characteristics to make her the type of heifer that will show and
perform at a level that will help to build a breeding program. Yearling
weights and ultrasound data will be available sale day. I am proud
of these heifers. I wouldn't normally part with any of them but
I felt it was very important to support the OHA and its annual spring
show and sale. I have bought some premium heifers at this sale over
the past few years. They have found a place in my breeding program.
I hope these heifers find a useful place in yours.

Quick Mill Farms wishes to congratulate and thank Andrea Vandermolen
