Homerun is a bull that has caught our eye
from the time he was first born. His dam is Miss Nizhoni 901, dam
of 9401, and sired by NJW Wrangler 19D, the former National Grand
Champion.
He was one of several flush mates that include
QMF SUN 19D Hercules 14H and all have done well. Out of all the
flush mates Homerun is the thickest and most heavily muscled, especially
in his hindquarters. He has muscle and style. It seems as if it
doesn't matter when you see him, he always looks great.

His only drawback is that he has more white than we would like.
However, his calves are well marked without an excess of white.
He is a bull that puts the beef back in beef cattle. He is co-owned
with Fee Farms and we have been using him heavily the last two years.
Yearling
Photo
23H is a big volume long bodied bull that walks well and has shown
his superior carcass since he was young. His first calf crop will
be ultrasounded this winter. We believe his data will be impressive.
Unfortunately, as a calf, his early growth suffered because his
recipient mother got sick and milked poorly, which gave him a 605-pound
205-day weight. After weaning, he improved dramatically with a 1218
yearling-weight. It is sometimes hard to appreciate, however, rapid
yearling growth is what you would expect from his genetics. This
has been borne out by his calves. As of October 2001 Homerun's first
calves have performed very well. Our top two heifers were sired
by 23H.
If you are looking for a bull that adds thickness to his calves,
with powerful maternal genetics, there are few better than QMF 2F
Homerun 23H.
