9820 is a young cow that was purchased from Gary Witherspoon; however, her breeding is straight out of the best of John Gage's work at Blue Jacket Herefords. 9820's dam, 84T, is a remarkable Felton's 517 daughter that is in the top 200 for multiple trait excellence. 9820's sire is a Prospector 51M son. Prospector 51M has sired several daughters in our herd and they are working well. 9820 combines the best of Prospector breeding from two quality breeding programs.

9820 is a moderate framed, deep bodied, good milking, good uddered young cow. She always has one of our lower birth weight calves, which perform well. She is young and is still proving herself but we like what we see so far, enough to list her in our Top 10 this year.
