9503 is an MSU Optimum Z03 daughter out of a good milking JW6 cow. Gary Witherspoon was the breeder. QMF purchased her several years ago at the OHA Annual Spring Sale, as a heifer. She started with bang by weaning QMF's heaviest heifer her first year of production. She has continued to do well since with a performance weaning wt ratio of 116.5 and a performance yearling wt ratio of 114 on her first three calves. She and 10F, both Z03 daughters, are why we use MSU Optimum Z03 and why he is such an important part of our breeding program.

02H is one of 9503's first daughters in production and has also done well with her first calf. Unfortunately, this year she has a set of Free Martin twins but she is the type of good uddered high milking female we like, which is one of the reasons we have made 9503 a donor. Additionally, we have also kept two of her embryo full siblings (7K & 28K) in our herd.

9503 had a good show career and was the cow/calf champion at the 1998 California State Fair. She is now in our donor program and has several embryo calves coming in addition to her beautiful 2001 natural calf (heifer) recently born and pictured below.
